Discovering new knowledge about products, processes, and services, and then applying that knowledge to create new and improved products, processes, and services that fill market needs. Our company spend a large amount of money on R&D in order to always have new, leading-edge products and drugs coming to market. The research and development center was established in 1998, with the foundation of the company. There are 16 persons in the center, all of them has bachelor's degree, and three are senior engineer. The center has more than 30 advance research equipment and instruments. The main research fields of the center are antibiotics, biological technology medicine, new dosage form, small molecule medicine and new natural medicine.There are three ways for where and how such R&D should be carried out in our company: in-house R&D in the company laboratories, externally contracted R&D, and joint R&D. In-house R&D commands a strategic advantage, since our company is the sole owner of the technology and can protect it from unauthorized uses. In addition, since R&D is basically a learning process, our company develop a group of experienced scientists and engineers that can be employed in developing more advanced products and processes and in transferring the results of their R&D to operations and to customers. External R&D is usually contracted out to specialized nonprofit research institutions or to universities. Our company cooperates with some universities, such as Hebei Medical University, Hebei University of Science and Technology, Agricultural University of Hebei, China Agricultural University, North China Pharmaceutical R&D Institute.

Description:Introduction Analytical balances are accurate and precise instruments used to measure masses. They require a draft-free location on a solid bench that is free of vibrations. Some modern balances have built-in calibration masses to maintain accuracy. Older balances should be calibrated periodically with a standard mass. Here are a few tips to follow to insure proper care whenever you are using an electronic balance of any kind: - Do not bump or place objects on the bench after zeroing the balance. - Mass powders on paper or dishes. Handle objects with tongs, tweezers, gloves, or paper to prevent fingerprints. - Let hot objects cool before massing. - Mass hygroscopic materials rapidly since they will absorb water during massing. - When making repetitive massings always use the same procedure. - Do not go off and leave spilled chemicals on or around the balance. Report any spill to the instructor so that she may clean it up in a proper manner, re-calibrating if necessary. Operating Instructions for the Mettler AJ100 Balance: 1. Before turning on, be sure that the doors are closed and the pan is not touching the draft ring. 2. Turn on by pushing down on the gray bar and letting up quickly. 3. Push again if the digital readout does not show 0.0000 g. 4. Place object in the center of the pan and close door(s). 5. Allow display to stablize; (g) will appear after the nummerical display. 6. Read (record) result, remove object from pan, leave doors closed and re-zero if necessary. Operating Instructions for the Fisher Balance: 1. This balance is always left turned on, so just be sure that the readout is 0.000 and (g) is showing as the unit. 2. Push on the large, red square labeled "Tare", if re-zeroing is necessary. Repeat until only zeros are on the display. 3. Place object in the center of the pan. 4. Allow display to stablize; (g) will appear in the unit area of the display. 5. Read (record) the mass, remove object from pan, and re-zero if necessary.
