Long-acting Oxytetracycline Injection

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains 200mg Oxytetracycline

INDICATIONS

The drug is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of bacterial diseases caused by bacteria including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, rickttsia, mycoplasma, etc. For the prevention ana teatment of pasteurellosis, pneumonia, actinobacillosis, mastitis, calf diphtheria, foot-rot, avscesses, wound infections, the control of post-operative and postpartum infections in cattle, sheep, goats and swine.

DOSAGE AND ADMIMISTRATION

Intramuscular  The dosage rate for cattle, swine, sheep, and goats is 200mg/kg bodyweight(i.e 1ml per 10kg bodyweight). It is recommended in cattle that no more than 20ml, in swine no more than 10ml, and in sheep and goats no more than 5ml, be injected at one side.

In swine, 1ml dose should be used if the weight less than 10kg.

In young lambs for the short-term control of high fever and pyaemia,2ml dose should be used per lamb.

WITHDRWAL TIME

Cattle, sheep, swine 28days, for milk 7 days.
